Bruce is from Pawleys Island, South Carolina. He attended USC Spartanburg and earned a Forestry Degree from Horry Georgetown Tech. He has worked in the horticultural industry since 2000 and has been with Parsons Nursery since 2002.

Why did you choose a career in the horticultural industry?

Parsons looked like a great place to work.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

It’s a fun place to work; everyone is working towards one goal. It also allows me to meet great people throughout the country.

What is your favorite tree, shrub or perennial?

Azaleas (any color)
