It all starts with the fundamentals of proper pruning and staking. Our professionally trained staff spends every hour of the work-day inspecting and grooming each tree and shrub through meticulous pruning techniques that ensure consistent quality, uniformity, appearance and structure. It’s this single most critical production practice that differentiates our product in the marketplace.

SELECTIONS.
We grow over 200 different tree and shrub varieties and over 100 perennial varieties. Our diverse product line is continually upgraded to include the best new shrub and tree cultivars available. We offer one of the largest selections of 15- and 30-gallon container plants on the East Coast with a concentration in large hollies, crape myrtles, magnolias and shade trees.

ENHANCED ROOT STRUCTURE.
Exceptional landscape plants begin with the roots. Starting with propagation and continuing through the production process, root manipulation in container grown plants is essential to superior performance in the landscape. All of our containers are coated with SpinoutTM, a chemical root pruning product which produces a superior, well branched, fibrous root system with no circling roots.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP, INTEGRATED PEST MANAGEMENT AND WATER CONSERVATION.
We believe environmental stewardship is not an option but a requirement in our industry. Our integrated approach to pest management includes cultural considerations, scouting, biological controls and improved cultivar plant material. We complement this with a pesticide application program utilizing the safest chemistry available with reduced environmental impact.

In addition to reclaiming and reusing runoff water from the nursery property, we use a cyclic irrigation application method, low volume micro-irrigation technology and precise controlled releas fertilizer in an effort to conserve our precious water resources.
